I was fortunate to have a unique perspective of Bob in the fact that they shared their son Scott with us and we shared Michelle with their family. More than once Bob just called me out of the blue and said something like " Aren't we about as lucky as anybody can be to have the grandkids we 've got, They're just awesome!" As tough as Bob was i think I can safely say that the only thing he loved more than feeding cattle was his family. I will always greatly respect him for that.
